CE Tools Inc. designs and manufactures high-quality tools and supplies for contractors, carpenters, DIYers and others in the building industry. Third-generation contractor and entrepreneur Dan Lemcke founded CE Tools Inc. with the same values that brought him success in his long career in construction.
One of the things that sets us apart from other tool and supply manufacturers is our focus on innovation. We are constantly developing new and innovative tools to meet the needs of our customers. For example, CE Tools Inc. was the first company to introduce the releasable chalk line, which allows users to release the hook from a distance, saving time and steps.

Dan is a third-generation contractor who recognized that the tools and products necessary to contractors could be better.
Tristan Lemcke
Vice President
Tristan handles marketing and development for CE Tools Inc. He is responsible for the company’s branding, using his design skills to create the graphics used in the company’s advertising and collateral materials. Strategic planning with the management team is a key responsibility.
Christy Starr
Office Manager & Bookkeeper
Christy’s responsibilities include Managing CE Tools Inc.’s financial operations, including AP and AR. She serves as a liaison for retail wholesalers and fulfillment of customer orders. She also supervises the internship program offered by CE Tools in cooperation with the business department at The University of Tennessee, Southern, in Pulaski.
Our Products
- CE Tools Contractor Engineered® Red Edge Levels are made with thick-walled aluminum housing and robust end caps, making them ideal for the rigors of the job site. They also feature a high visibility red outlined bubble, a side view vial for vertical viewing and a precision shockproof vial that is accurate to within 0.0005 in/inch.
- CE Tools SnapBack® Releasable Chalk Lines feature a patented releasable tip that allows users to release the hook from a distance, saving time and steps. CE Tools SnapBack™ Releasable Chalk Lines are also made with durable materials so they can withstand the rigors of construction and DIY projects. They are highly accurate and easy to use, and they can be used for a variety of tasks.
- CE Tools Extreme Visibility Chalk can be used in any chalkline. CE Tools Ultra Fine Chalk is highly visible even in low light conditions, and it is non-toxic and easy to wipe away. It comes in four colors.
- CE Tools Tough Towels are made with high-quality materials and construction, making them highly durable and absorbent. They are also low-lint, so they won’t leave behind any residue on surfaces. Tough Towels can be used for a variety of tasks, including cleaning tools, wiping up spills, absorbing liquids, protecting surfaces and polishing surfaces.
- CE Tools Tough Wipes are packed with features that make them ideal for tough job: scrubbing beads, more cleaning fluid per wipe than most other wipes on the market, a scentless/odorless formula, antibacterial properties, high absorbency and gentleness on the hands. Tough Wipes can be used for a variety of tasks, including cleaning hands, tools, equipment and surfaces.
